The World Goes

Teal Sunrise

Just outside of Woodruff, heading towards Cross Anchor I noticed a dilapidated home. It is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever captured with a camera. I don’t know if I can say why. Some photos are best misunderstood. I would love to know how these photos make you feel. Do they remind you of the past, of loved ones, or lost memories?

Piety in Abscondment

Piety in Abscondment

Standing outside on that crisp morning I felt peace mixed with a tinge of regret. To see the sunrise and know it is outside your ability to manipulate. Each day the sun will shine and each night it will depart. This home is almost gone now. I Imagine many years ago people lived right here, laughed right here, and likely died right here. Now nature claims these and soon it will claim all memory of what once prevailed. We all get so caught up in our lives, our problems, and yet the sun will rise tomorrow.
